Each year, AFS honors its members and partners through awards that celebrate exceptional contributions to fisheries science and the broader aquatic community. These awards recognize individuals and groups whose work—whether through research, conservation, education, or service—has made a meaningful impact on the profession. A call for nominations is issued annually to highlight and celebrate professional excellence and dedication across the field.
